THE PROCESS

Your ideas, descriptions and inspirational images are welcomed to narrow down what you’d like made.

We will offer recommendations before fabric, style and colours are confirmed. We can mix and match different fabric colours and styles along with the detailing like flowers, beading or pearls to put together a special áo dài for you in a style that best suits your figure.

Once the right fabric has been chosen, measurements need to be taken. At this stage, a deposit is taken before the fabric is cut. Two fittings are usually recommended to ensure the dress fits well.

THE PRICING

Having a made to measure áo dài could cost anywhere between $120-350 depending on style, material & detailing.

An áo dài made of plain or imprinted fabric would be around the $120-150 to make. These are usually single layered with no additional detailing such as lace or beading (which start from $180). Dresses which require double layer require more fabric & can cost $30-50 extra to make. Consultation can help narrow down how much it will cost to have what you like made.

The price quoted includes the cost of fabric, zips/buttons, labour & fittings. Please note that specialty fabric (especially bridal) additional detailing and sheer fabrics that require more than one layer will increase the cost of the áo dài.
